SECO Energy Scholarship Program
Each school year up to twelve high school seniors who live in a home served by SECO Energy, have the opportunity to be awarded a $3,000 scholarship to further their education. For over 20 years, SECO Energy has enabled over 250 young scholars to begin their dreams of a college education by awarding over $500,000 in scholarships. We are proud to renew our commitment to the support of youth and continuing education in our community as, each January, we open the scholarship application period.
Applications are available beginning January 1, 2017, at SECO’s five Member Service Centers in Lake, Sumter, Marion and Citrus counties, area high school guidance offices, at the SECO corporate offices in Sumterville and online.
To be considered, completed applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. on March 31, 2017.
