Jamb
The side and head lining of a doorway, window or other opening.

Joint
A place at which two parts are joined or come together; often a site where caulking is needed.

JPEG
Joint Photographic Expert Group. It is a compressed graphics format common on the Internet.

Joist
One of the parallel beams that support a floor or ceiling. Insulation is commonly laid between joists.
