In addition, Touchstone has an Energy Savers section on their Web site for Coop members. According to the Energy Policy Act of 2005 you could be eligible for tax credits for some energy efficient improvements made to home or business. In person, free home energy audits are also conducted for residential members and commercial audits are performed for member-businesses who wish to know more about their energy consumption. Representatives are trained to survey facilities and make recommendations to help keep energy costs down. Following a thorough inspection of your home or business, they suggest ways to improve its energy efficiency.
